Japan 10-Day Trip Haul Unboxing! Results of spending 50,000 yen

Just got back from Japan! Visited Akihabara, Nakano Broadway, Ikebukuro Animate, and Nipponbashi. Here is the haul: - Alter 1/7 Frieren (Limited Edition) - GSC Nendoroid Anya × 3 versions - Jujutsu Kaisen Official Artbook - Used CDs × 8 (Found some gems at Mandarake) - Gashapon × 20 - Limited Edition T-shirts × 2 50,000 yen sounds like a lot, but when you break it down, many of these items can't be bought in Hong Kong. Anyone want to know which shops had the best deals?

Mandarake's used CDs are a real treasure trove. I managed to pick up a lot of out-of-print items when I went last time. 50,000 yen is actually quite restrained.

May I ask how the packaging for the ALTER one is? Because I'm most worried about it getting damaged during shipping when bringing a figure back. Did you check it in or carry it on?

There are some Japanese proxy shopping stores in Sham Shui Po too; although the selection is limited, you don't need to fly there.

From a financial planner's perspective: 50,000 yen ≈ $2,700 HKD. If you were to buy all these items in Hong Kong, it would cost at least $5,000. So, it's actually a great deal.
