Supporting characters more popular than the protagonist! How many of these 20 popular characters do you know?

I found this statistic really interesting; it seems like it's become the norm in the 2D world for supporting characters to completely overshadow the protagonist in popularity 😂

Let me start with a few of my personal favorites:

Gojo Satoru goes without saying—he's the popularity anchor of Jujutsu Kaisen. Even though he doesn't have the most screen time, every appearance is a highlight. That powerful yet slightly unhinged aura is truly captivating.

Captain Levi as well; he's the most memorable character in Attack on Titan. Although his height... *ahem*, his combat ability is definitely top-tier.

Dazai Osamu's popularity is also ridiculously high. He portrays that morally ambiguous vibe in Bungo Stray Dogs so perfectly. Every time I see him being cool, I think it's just unfairly handsome.

And Rem! In Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World, Rem's popularity really doesn't lose to Emilia's at all. That loyal and gentle personality is just so endearing.

But honestly, I think some characters are a bit overrated. For example, Katsuki Bakugo—even though he's popular, I personally really don't like his personality...
