Yuu from Bloom Into You. Someone who didn't know what "liking" someone felt like, until she met the person who changed her. This character had a huge impact on me.
If the other person is a female viewer, Fruits Basket (the new version) is an excellent entry-level work. The emotional portrayal is incredibly delicate.
