Amidst the commotion in Yamato over the return of Spring after ten years, people discuss the current Proxy of Spring. Among them are the Winter Proxy, Rosei Kantsubaki, possessing melancholic eyes and noble beauty, and the man serving him like a butler, Winter Proxy Guard Itechou Kangetsu. The two step into the land of Soushi alongside Ishihara, newly dispatched from the Agency of the Four Seasons, and the winter guard detail.
