Angels of Death is a TV action-psychological thriller anime produced by J.C.STAFF, adapted from the original game by Makoto Sanada. The story follows Rachel Gardner, a girl who awakens with no memories in a mysterious multi-floor building, and forms an unsettling pact with Isaac Foster, a scythe-wielding killer: she wants to die, and he will be the one to kill her. Together they must survive each floor's deranged guardian—including the likes of Edward Mason, Catherine Ward, Daniel Dickens, and Abraham Gray—in a harrowing descent into madness. Directed by Kentaro Suzuki with series composition by Yoshinobu Fujioka, the series masterfully translates the game's oppressive tension and psychological horror into a compelling animated experience.
