Daniel Dickens

Daniel Dickens — known simply as Danny — holds absolute authority over the building's fifth basement level, while simultaneously maintaining his cover as a psychiatrist assigned to the protagonist Rachel. Born without his right eye, Daniel developed a harrowing fixation on beautiful eyes through a childhood scarred by tragedy and neglect. To the outside world, he presents an image of quiet sophistication and impeccable manners; beneath that veneer, however, lies a profoundly disturbed mind consumed by the desire to claim Rachel's eerily hollow, lifeless gaze as his own. Threatening and unpredictable across both the early and later arcs of the story, he stands as one of the series' most chilling and formidable antagonists.
