BLEND-S is a TV anime comedy based on the manga by Nakayama Miyuki, brought to life by A-1 Pictures under the direction of Ryouji Masuyama with series composition by Zappa Go. The series follows the charming and mismatched staff of Café Stile, where each waitress adopts a unique character archetype. From Maika Sakuranomiya, whose innocent smile masks an unintentionally intimidating glare, to the sweet-looking yet sharp-tongued Mafuyu Hoshikawa, and the flamboyant Hideri Kanzaki, the ensemble delivers non-stop slice-of-life laughs. A delightful blend of workplace humor and character-driven comedy.

Set in a one-of-a-kind café where every waitress is assigned a distinct character archetype to perform on the job — ranging from the classic tsundere to the sweet little-sister type — the story follows Maika Sakuranomiya, an ordinary girl who lands a part-time position at this unconventional establishment. Upon observing her, the Owner makes a surprising decision: Maika is to take on the role of the "Do S" — an extreme sadist — waitress, expected to project a commanding and assertive attitude toward every customer she serves. For a girl who never imagined herself in such a role, stepping into this bold persona is no small challenge. Surrounded by colleagues each embodying their own unique character, Maika's lively and unpredictable days at the café are only just beginning.
