Plot
Date A Live V marks the fifth installment of this beloved anime franchise. The story is set in a world where mysterious beings known as Spirits trigger catastrophic spatial quakes upon their arrival, threatening all of humanity. Shidou Itsuka works alongside the covert organization Ratatoskr, using a unique ability to seal Spirits' powers through forming bonds with them—a method far more peaceful than simple elimination. Having successfully sealed ten Spirits so far, Shidou now finds himself in greater danger than ever before. Isaac Ray Peram Westcott, the ruthless head of Deus Ex Machina Industries, has set his sights on the immense power residing within Shidou and is prepared to take drastic action. With an overwhelming force bearing down on Ratatoskr, the organization is pushed to its absolute limits. Amid this desperate situation, the enigmatic Spirit of Time, Kurumi Tokisaki, emerges as a potential key to facing the looming crisis that threatens everything.
