Introduction / Synopsis

Summary

Symphogear G is an original sci-fi action TV anime produced by Satelight, blending high-octane battles with music, drama, and mahou shoujo elements into a uniquely electrifying experience. Directed by Katsumi Ono with series composition by Akifumi Kaneko, and based on an original concept by Noriyas Uematsu, the series raises the stakes as Hibiki Tachibana, Tsubasa Kazanari, and Chris Yukine face a formidable new threat. The enigmatic Maria Cadenzavna Eve emerges alongside Kirika Akatsuki and Shirabe Tsukuyomi, setting the stage for an explosive clash of ideals. Fight, sing, and never give up — the second movement begins.

Plot

The second season of Senki Zesshou Symphogear returns to a world under constant threat from the Noise—mysterious extraterrestrial creatures immune to conventional weapons. The only ones capable of standing against them are a select few girls who can harmonize with ancient relics called Symphogear, channeling the power of song into combat armor. Following the events of the first season, Hibiki Tachibana and her fellow wielders have found a semblance of peace and are now participating in a joint Japanese-American research program. Their current mission: safely escort a completed relic known as Sacrist S to a U.S. military base in Iwakuni—a task that should be straightforward given the cooperation between both nations. But as the operation gets underway, the Noise resurface in overwhelming numbers, and the shadows of an unseen orchestrator begin to stretch across the horizon. A new chapter of battle is about to begin, where the girls' songs carry not just melody, but the weight of their very lives.
