Summary

Symphogear XV is the fifth and final season of the original sci-fi action TV anime series produced by Satelight. Blending action, drama, magical girl aesthetics, music, and sci-fi, the series delivers high-octane battles powered by the strength of song. Directed by Katsumi Ono with series composition by Akifumi Kaneko, the original work was created by Noriyasu Agematsu. Hibiki Tachibana, Tsubasa Kazanari, Chris Yukine, Maria Cadenzavna Eve, Kirika Akatsuki, and Shirabe Tsukuyomi unite once more to confront the ultimate threat Shem-Ha Mephorash, bringing the beloved franchise to an epic and emotional conclusion.

Plot

Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV marks the fifth chapter of this beloved franchise. In this world, humanity now faces the looming shadow of the Custodians—an ancient, intelligent species said to be responsible for fracturing human language across the globe in a forgotten era. Six warriors known as Symphogear wielders—Hibiki Tachibana, Tsubasa Kazanari, Chris Yukine, Maria Cadenzavna Eve, Kirika Akatsuki, and Shirabe Tsukuyomi—serve under the covert organization S.O.N.G., dedicating their lives to protecting mankind using the power of sacred relics. When a mission takes them to the frozen expanse of Antarctica to recover a newly discovered ancient artifact, their efforts draw the attention of Noble Red, a dangerous criminal group born from the ashes of the Bavarian Illuminati. With old enemies and new threats converging, the stage is set for an epic confrontation unlike anything the Symphogear wielders have faced before.
