The Pet Girl of Sakurasou

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou is a TV anime adaptation of the light novel series by Hajime Kamoshida, produced by J.C.STAFF. The story follows Sorata Kanda, a resident of the eccentric Sakurasou dormitory, as he is tasked with looking after the brilliantly talented but helplessly dependent artist Mashiro Shiina. Set in a boarding school with strict rules against keeping pets in standard dormitories, the story follows Sorata Kanda, a student whose soft spot for stray animals lands him in an unexpected situation. After taking in a wandering cat, Sorata finds himself relocated to Sakura Hall, a dorm notorious for housing the school's most eccentric residents. Among his new housemates are Jin Mitaka, a charming self-proclaimed ladies' man, Ryuunosuke Akasaka, a tech-savvy recluse who rarely leaves his room, and Mashiro Shiina, a world-renowned artistic prodigy who possesses breathtaking talent yet struggles with even the most basic aspects of everyday life. Dorm supervisor Chihiro Sengoku decides that Sorata is the perfect candidate to look after Mashiro, adding yet another responsibility to his already chaotic new life surrounded by stray cats and colorful personalities.
