Unlimited Fafnir is a TV anime adaptation of the light novel series by ツカサ, produced by diomedéa. The world changed forever the day mysterious creatures called dragons appeared without warning. In the aftermath of this upheaval, certain girls began to manifest powers reminiscent of the dragons themselves — these individuals came to be known as "D." To nurture and oversee them, a special academy called Midgar was established, bringing together D-girls from around the globe. Yet among all the known Ds in the world, one singular anomaly exists: Yuu Mononobe, a young man who somehow possesses the same rare abilities.
