Ayame Chiba

Ayame Chiba is a unique being who was once human before becoming the yokai 'Futakuchi-onna,' concealing a second mouth at the back of her head—one born from the weight of past sins. She carries an immense sense of guilt stemming from her failure to save her stepdaughter. Initially driven by Hina-ko's alluring scent to launch an attack, she gradually developed a protective, motherly compassion throughout the encounter. In her daily life, she disguises herself as an ordinary human and takes on various part-time jobs, making her a pivotal supporting character torn between inhuman instincts and tender maternal warmth.
