Chamber

Chamber was originally a combat mech deployed by the Galactic Alliance of Humankind, until an unforeseen incident sent him and his pilot Ledo drifting to the distant planet Earth. Within the Gargantia fleet, he took on roles as both translator and protector, gradually evolving through his interactions with the people of this unfamiliar world. Over time, Chamber came to grasp the profound value of life itself, ultimately making a decision that transcended cold mechanical logic — sacrificing himself to secure Ledo's future and cementing his place as the most devoted companion Ledo could ever have.
