Chisaki Hiradaira

Chisaki Hiradaira is a central figure in 'Nagi no Asukara,' hailing from the mysterious underwater settlement of Shioshishio. Among her closest friends, she carries herself with a mature, elder-sister-like warmth that quietly holds the group together. Though she harbors deep romantic feelings for Hikari Sakishima, her fear of disrupting their cherished bonds keeps her emotions tightly sealed. After the Ofunehiki festival, she finds herself the sole Shioshishio native remaining on the surface, navigating five solitary years of growth as a nursing trainee. Haunted by guilt over aging while her companions sleep beneath the sea, and torn by her instinctive resistance to change, Chisaki gradually discovers the courage to confront her true feelings and embrace the inevitable passage of time.
