Chocobo made a surprise appearance in the first episode of Pop Team Epic Season 2 as part of an official collaboration with Square Enix. Featured in a short segment titled 'Square Enix,' the creature appeared alongside Moogle in its authentic original form, accompanied by the beloved classic tune Mambo de Chocobo. True to its source material, Chocobo communicated entirely through its signature calls and movements, perfectly embodying the series' spirit of cross-franchise crossovers and self-aware official humor.
