Chonbo

Chonbo is a mahjong spirit who dwells within a shuttered mahjong parlor located in Onomichi City, Hiroshima. Appearing as a small sparrow wearing headphones, he possesses the ability to communicate with humans and holds extensive knowledge of mahjong. Throughout the story, he watches over and guides girls such as Jusha Riko in their everyday mahjong lives, serving as a quietly mysterious yet pivotal presence in the work.
