Danko Ichigeki

Danko Ichigeki is the protagonist of "Flaming Dodgeball Girl Danko" and the offspring of the legendary dodgeball player Danpei Ichigeki. Because of past injuries in the predecessor's generation, the dodgeball club at Tamagawa Elementary and Junior High Joint School was disbanded. Determined to revive it, the highly spirited Danko, along with childhood friend Chinko Kobotoke, tirelessly recruits a team of highly unique members. Living by the parental teaching to "Always give it your all!", Danko displays incredible resilience and talent on the court. Danko wields powerful signature techniques such as the "Tombstone Tornado," a throw capable of shattering solid stone, and the iconic "Flame Shot" inherited from the previous generation. While fearless and unstoppable during matches, Danko has a comical side, harboring a fear of ghosts and a deep dislike of bell peppers.
