Mochiko Etai

Mochiko Etai is a first-year junior high school student at Shin-Tamagawa Elementary and Junior High School and a key member of the revived Dodgeball Club in *Flaming Dodgeball Girl Danko*. Characterized by her unique octopus-like hairstyle and mild-mannered, peace-loving nature, she is a compassionate and motherly figure who constantly looks out for her highly spirited teammates. Although her throwing power is practically nonexistent, her incredibly soft, impact-absorbing body allows her to securely catch even the most powerful shots—including those from the protagonist Danko Ichigeki. On the court, she acts as the team's defensive core, utilizing her flexible physique to throw incredibly slow change-ups or expand her body after inhaling deeply to execute her signature "Mochimochi Slingshot" technique.
