Emi Kosugi

Emi Kosugi is the mother of Takuma, the story's main character. Grounded in traditional and practical values, she initially held reservations about her son's relationship with the android Mina, largely due to concerns over the robot's legal standing as "property," even suggesting a transfer of ownership as a solution. However, upon witnessing Takuma's unwavering resolve and meeting her "grandchild" Komori, her hesitation gradually gave way, and she came to support her son's decision with both reason and care.
