Eringi emerges in the latter half of the story as a profoundly mysterious form of artificial life. These autonomous entities carry out a singular mission: to absorb and neutralize the hazardous weapons and unstable energies left behind by human civilization, guiding the world toward a state of lasting equilibrium. Possessing remarkable intelligence and the capacity for cross-species communication, a large-scale individual voiced by Noriko Hidaka contacts the protagonist via radio transmission, calmly articulating the purpose behind their 'cleansing' of the world. With the detached composure of an eternal observer, they bear witness to the twilight of human civilization.
