Fatima

Fatima is a gentle and intellectual widow from a scholarly family in 13th-century Tus, Persia. Following her husband's passing, she visits a slave market and takes in a young, lonely slave girl named Sitara, raising and protecting her with deep maternal affection. Firmly believing that seeking knowledge is a fundamental duty for everyone, Fatima provides Sitara with a warm home and encourages her learning alongside her son, Muhammad. Her wisdom, grace, and nurturing spirit foster a peaceful environment where Sitara discovers the joy of education.
