Honoka Maki

Honoka is a quiet, book-loving second-year at Sugomori Middle School who keeps others at arm's length with her cutting remarks. A painful chapter from her past—co-creating manga with her close friend 'Ruru'—left emotional scars that she has long buried beneath a cold exterior. Drawn into the Kiznaiver experiment, she slowly dismantles her emotional walls as shared suffering with her fellow participants forces her to confront the loneliness and guilt she has carried for years.
