Horton

Horton is the live-in husband at a local eatery in Eridana City, celebrated for its irresistibly crispy fried meat patties. He has developed his own divination method—dubbed "Horton's Prophecy"—using a crystal ball as his tool of choice. While his readings are notoriously unreliable for most people, they achieve a startling 100% accuracy rate when it comes to predicting misfortune for the protagonist, Gaius. Free-spirited and wonderfully odd, Horton routinely uses fortune-telling as a cover for teasing Gaius, once solemnly declaring that Gaius's past life was nothing more than a shoelace. His offbeat humor makes him an indispensable source of lighthearted comedy throughout the story.
