Ikoma

Ikoma is a 17-year-old steam smith stationed at Aragane Station whose life was forever changed when he witnessed the brutal death of his loved ones at the hands of the Kabane. Driven by an unwavering vow of vengeance, he secretly engineered a specialized piercing weapon known as the 'Tsuranukizutsu' capable of destroying Kabane hearts. When the station fell under siege and he became infected, his sheer force of will prevented the virus from reaching his brain—transforming him into a Kabaneri, a being that bridges the gap between human and undead. Refusing to flee any longer, Ikoma now fights to protect both his dignity and those around him.
