Kaoruko Nishi

Kaoruko Nishi, widely known by her nickname 'Kansaineko' (Kansai Cat), is a friend of the protagonist in 'Chainsmoker Cat' and a college student studying at a university in Machida. Featuring long hair and a fashionable look, she is an undeniable beauty as long as she remains quiet. However, hailing from the Kansai region, she is extremely passionate about comedy and constantly tries to make others laugh with her pun-filled jokes. Unfortunately, her sense of humor is quite disastrous, often resulting in awkward silences whenever she performs. Compared to the other highly chaotic and lazy beastfolk in the neighborhood, she is one of the few relatively sensible and level-headed characters. Usually seen smoking her favorite Pianissimo cigarettes, she brings her unique Kansai charm and awkwardly endearing comedy attempts to the daily life of her friends.
