Kiyoshi Taira

Kiyoshi Taira is a 51-year-old real estate mogul who becomes one of protagonist Ryouta Sakamoto's earliest allies upon arriving on the deadly island. Warm, jovial, and recognizable by his thick Kansai accent, he initially comes across as a trustworthy companion. Yet beneath that friendly exterior lies a man who was once feared for his cutthroat management style in the business world. As the game progresses, mounting injuries and an overwhelming dread of being left alone begin to fracture his sanity. Consumed by paranoia, he ultimately betrays his allies—only to be crushed by guilt and take his own life in a final act of remorse.
