Kokoro-chan

Kokoro-chan is a fairy spirit who has crossed over from the magical world into the human realm. Despite bearing an adorably soft name, this character's true appearance is anything but — a broad-shouldered, tough-looking figure sporting dark sunglasses and an unmistakable underworld aura. Kokoro recruits the protagonist Saki into the ranks of magical girls to defend their town, serving throughout the story as both a guide and a surprisingly well-stocked weapons supplier. Blunt in speech yet utterly devoted to the mission, Kokoro stands as the series' most visually and conceptually jarring contrast character.
