Calm and remarkably well-read under normal circumstances, Kouko has a peculiar coping mechanism: when stress peaks or reality becomes too much to face, she slips into her signature 'solo performance' mode—an elaborate one-woman theatrical routine through which she processes situations and reaches surprisingly sharp conclusions, making her both the crew's greatest asset and most entertaining enigma.
