Kyouko Sonan

Kyouko Sonan is a 23-year-old seasoned operative working within the covert organization. Driven by a deep-seated vendetta against the Penguin Empire—whose forces once persecuted her father—she has dedicated herself entirely to eradicating every last penguin. On the battlefield, her primary role is to guide protagonist Koichi Matomabashi in harnessing his Hi-ERo particles, the mysterious energy source that powers their giant robot. Despite her disciplined and no-nonsense nature, she must endure Koichi's inappropriate advances as a necessary condition for activating the particle output. Balancing the roles of combat mentor, intelligence handler, and comedic straight-man, she also serves as the series' signature alluring character.
