Ranking first among the Demon King's Four Heavenly Kings, Landan is a commoner by origin whose primary responsibilities revolve around the kingdom's internal affairs and administrative operations. Renowned for his exceptional ability to handle official matters, he nonetheless began entertaining frequent thoughts of resignation after witnessing the overwhelming combat potential and threat posed by the Great Tree Village, driven by a fear of being drawn into troublesome conflicts. Though outwardly calm and composed, he is in truth a diligent official who repeatedly teeters on the edge of a breakdown under mounting pressure.
