Laplus stands apart from others of the Tesseract kind—monsters that emerge from the depths of human ill will—as a truly unique specimen. His true form is that of an enormous blue fish, though he typically presents himself in the guise of a young boy. Wielding the formidable ability known as "High-Speed Enhancement," he backs up his partner Kazuho in combat. Outwardly, he maintains a cool demeanor laced with biting wit, always choosing to act from a detached, observational standpoint—yet beneath that aloof exterior lies an unwavering desire to keep Kazuho safe.
