Machi Kuragi

Machi Kuragi is a student at Kaibara High School who serves as the student council's treasurer. Scarred by a childhood in which her mother relentlessly pressured her to be flawless, she developed an intense aversion—and even a compulsive urge to disrupt—anything that appears too neat or perfectly symmetrical. Though she comes across as cold and withdrawn, Machi possesses a rare emotional clarity: she is one of the very few people who can see past Yuki's polished exterior and recognize the loneliness beneath, rather than simply idolizing him. Through their shared understanding of isolation, the two gradually become a source of healing for each other.
