Makoto Haga is a debugger working on the VR game Kingseeker Online who became trapped inside the game world for an entire year following a critical system malfunction. Even while stranded in such dire circumstances, he maintained his strict professional standards—continuing to document and report bugs while refusing to exploit any unauthorized privileges. After crossing paths with an NPC girl named Nicola, he took on the mission of reclaiming illicit permissions and sealing the world's broken gaps.
