Nikola was once an unremarkable girl living in the border village of Beit, until a dragon attack upended everything — Haga, a debugger, stepped in and pulled her from the brink of death. Through the intervention of the Meta-AI known as Tesla, her programming was altered, sparing her from a fate of certain destruction and igniting within her a genuine self-awareness. Upon learning that the world around her was nothing more than a glitch-ridden virtual game, she made the resolute choice to join Haga on a quest to repair those very glitches — and throughout that journey, she demonstrated emotions and personal growth that far exceeded anything her NPC parameters were ever meant to allow.
