Merielle Omui

Born into the ruling family of a frontier city, she first crossed paths with the protagonist Haruka when he came to her rescue during an ambush on her carriage. Known throughout the region as the Twin-Sword Princess of the Borderlands, she wields her blades with remarkable skill—yet behind that celebrated title lies a surprisingly scatterbrained and tearful young woman. She and her family hold deep gratitude toward Haruka and lend their support in managing the domain. However, one source of ongoing exasperation for her is that Haruka never manages to remember her actual name, opting instead for the nickname 'Meri-Meri,' much to her helpless dismay.
