Nero Claudius

Although Nero Claudius sits on the throne as the supreme ruler of the Roman Empire, he is fundamentally a gentle boy heavily restricted by his tragic destiny. Thrust into absolute power at a very young age, the intense political pressure and the bitter conflict with his manipulative mother, Agrippina, gradually push him toward drastic and ruthless actions, including the poisoning of his own stepbrother to secure his position. Despite his noble status, he feels a deep sense of camaraderie with the lowly gladiators and guards who fight for their lives in the arena. Watching these warriors struggle against their respective hardships allows him to project his own internal desire to break free from the invisible chains of his imperial fate.
