Nyagosuke

Nyagosuke is a black-and-white cat who has made Mikazukiji Temple her permanent home. Despite her unremarkable appearance, she has dwelled within the temple for an extraordinarily long time without showing any signs of aging, making her true nature a subject of deep mystery. She shares a special bond with Umizuki, the third of the Aoba daughters, who alone can understand what Nyagosuke is communicating. Preferring the role of a detached observer, Nyagosuke quietly watches over the commotion that unfolds within the temple, and at pivotal moments delivers sharp, precisely aimed commentary on the actions of Akagami Mitsuki and the girls.
