Takumi

Takumi is a young steam-forger residing at Aragane Station and the one person Ikoma can truly call a lifelong friend. For years, he worked alongside Ikoma in secrecy to develop the Tsuranuki-zutsu, a specialized weapon designed to combat the Kabane threat. Though often exasperated by Ikoma's reckless tendencies, Takumi never wavered in his unwavering trust and wholehearted support. As their journey aboard the Koutetsujou unfolded, Takumi demonstrated remarkable bravery in the face of overwhelming danger, ultimately giving his life to shield his beloved friend—leaving behind one of the most emotionally resonant moments in the entire series.
