Tanabe-sensei

Tanabe-sensei pulls double duty as both the English teacher and homeroom supervisor for Nishikata's class. Known for his no-nonsense expression and rigid classroom standards, he frequently finds himself scolding Nishikata whenever the boy's suspicious reactions to Takagi's teasing draw unwanted attention. Despite his intimidating temper, there's a softer side beneath the surface — the genuine, unguarded moments of his students are sometimes enough to crack his stern exterior with a reluctant smile, making him a warmly authoritative presence throughout the story.
