Tsukuyomi

Tsukuyomi, the moon god of Japanese mythology, plays a pivotal role in the isekai narrative by fulfilling the divine contract made between the protagonist Makoto's parents and a goddess, transporting him to an unfamiliar otherworld. When Makoto is cruelly rejected and cast into a desolate wilderness by that very goddess, Tsukuyomi's sense of guilt and compassion compels him to secretly bestow upon Makoto a blessing that far surpasses what the goddess had granted.
