Who is your favorite anime director?

An anime director's style really deeply influences the atmosphere of a work. I'd like to ask if you all have any directors you particularly like.

I personally really like Makoto Shinkai. Although some say his works all follow the same formula, I have to admit that his visuals and emotional depictions just hit the mark for me.

I also really appreciate Mamoru Hosoda. I've watched Summer Wars and Wolf Children many times; the way he depicts family emotions is so delicate.

And then there's Hayao Miyazaki, who goes without saying—a classic among classics.

Do you all have any directors you particularly like? Why do you like their style?
