Any recommendations for underrated but masterpiece anime?
I've pretty much caught up with all the popular shows lately, so I'm looking for some lesser-known but high-quality works to watch.
Here are a few I think are underrated:
Kino's Journey - An episodic series where each episode explores different social issues. The art style is simple, but the writing is incredible.
Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions - An isekai, but not the overpowered protagonist type. It features realistic daily adventure life, and the art direction is super dedicated.
A Place Further than the Universe - High school girls going to Antarctica. It's passionate and touching; I felt so inspired after finishing it back then.
Does anyone have any hidden gem masterpieces they'd like to recommend? Any genre is fine, as long as it's a work you think deserves more attention~
