Just got back from AnimeJapan 2026, still so excited!

Went to AnimeJapan 2026 last weekend. It was my first time attending an anime convention in Japan, and it completely exceeded my expectations! Highlights: - Waited in line for two hours at the Kyoto Animation Garden of Serenity booth, but getting the limited edition postcard set made it totally worth it. - The MAPPA exhibition area had original drawings from Starsea Traveler on display; the sheer number of frames was mind-blowing. - The voice actor stages were packed for every session; even arriving an hour early didn't guarantee entry. - The limited edition merchandise at the corporate booths was impossible to grab. Compared to anime conventions in Hong Kong, the ones here are just... (I won't say more 😅). Definitely going again next year!

I went too! The MAPPA original art exhibition area was truly amazing; the linework on some of those original drawings was unbelievably clean. Did you go to the Aniplex booth?
