Toei Announces All-New Dragon Ball Project! Continuing Akira Toriyama's Legacy

Toei has announced a brand new Dragon Ball animation project today, based on the story outlines left behind by the late Akira Toriyama. The official statement says they will faithfully present Toriyama's worldview rather than expanding it indefinitely. The new project is expected to begin in 2027. As a DB fan who grew up watching it, I'm really both excited and worried. Will DB still have that same feel without Akira Toriyama? What do you all think?

Having a story outline is a good thing. At least it avoids the problem seen in the "super" late stages where the show relies entirely on new characters to carry the plot.
