The light novel series The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained by the Most Powerful Party, Becomes Invincible! (Zatsumu Jutsushi no Eiyuutan) has announced a TV anime adaptation, scheduled to air in January 2027!
J.C.STAFF is in charge of animation production, with Hideki Okamoto serving as director. The voice cast features Reiji Kawashima and Hana Hishikawa in the lead roles.
The story follows Wim Strauss, an enchanter who has always fulfilled his duties as a dedicated support and utility character. However, after accidentally defeating a floor boss, his prideful party leader expels him from the team. Left with no options, he is discovered by his childhood friend Heidmarie and receives an invitation to join the top-tier party, Night Dragonfly.
Wim insists that his achievements were purely accidental, but it is only a matter of time before those around him realize his true strength.
