Sharing My Anime Pilgrimage Experience in Japan: Slam Dunk Kamakura Edition
Last month, I finally made it to Kamakura, a place I've been longing to visit! The main goal was to visit the holy site from Slam Dunk—the railway crossing at Kamakurakōkō-mae Station.

I was so moved when I finally got there. Even though I had seen countless photos online before going, standing there in person and watching the train pass by made the opening theme play automatically in my head—it felt like everything went back to when I was a kid chasing after Slam Dunk.

Tips:
- It's much less crowded on weekdays; there are tons of tourists on weekends.
- 7-8 AM is the best time; the lighting is beautiful and there are fewer people.
- There is a small shop nearby that sells Slam Dunk merchandise.
- Remember to take a walk along the Shonan coast; the scenery is stunning.

Has anyone else been there? Share your own pilgrimage experiences!
