My experience of coming out to my family as an anime fan

When I was little, I used to hide and watch anime in secret. One time, my mom discovered the figures in my room, and she was so shocked she thought I was worshipping idols. 😂<br><br>Later, I plucked up the courage to explain it to her and even took her to watch <i>Spirited Away</i>. After watching it, she said, "I didn't realize animation could have so much depth." From that day on, she stopped opposing my hobby.<br><br>Do you guys have similar experiences?
