What was the first anime that got you hooked?

I remember the first anime I followed when I was a kid was Digimon, and I still know how to sing that opening theme even now. After that, I started getting into more and more anime; once you're hooked, there's no turning back. What about you guys? What was the first anime that got you hooked?
