If you're going to Odawara, you can visit the holy land of EVA! The prototype for Tokyo-3 is located near Hakone.
Having been to Hida-Takayama, I can confirm: the feeling of snow falling in winter is exactly the same as in "Your Name." It is well worth visiting.
